Low Carbon Living Promotional Programme
Funded by the Environment and Conservation Fund, the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) has launched Low Carbon Promotional Programme under the themes of Green Clothing, Eating, Living and Travelling. Low Carbon Living Experience Day was held on 5 June 2023, followed by a series of workshops and activities under the same theme for public participation. Topped with online publicity, the programme aims to encourage the public to change their daily habits on clothing, eating, living and travelling, to build green lifestyle, and contribute to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.

1. Plant Eco Printing Workshop [FULL]

| Content: | Transfering the natural colors in plants to the fabric and creating the most unique natural patterns. |

2. Coffee Grounds Mushroom Kit Workshop

3. Clothing Darning Stitching Workshop [FULL]

4. Rattan Cup Map Waeving Workshop [FULL]

6. Upcycling Denim Drawstring Bag [FULL]

| Content: | Recycle second-hand clothing and transform it into drawstring bag, let clothing be revived again. |

7. Eco Card Holder Workshop [FULL]

8. Food Waste Dyeing Workshop [FULL]

| Content: | Using natural yellow and purple food waste dye to create a unique pattern on tote bag or scarf. |

1. Urban Bird Sketching

2. Flaneuring with Egrets

3. Forest Bathing

| Content: | With the guidance of forest therapist, relax your body and mind and embrace the healing power of the nature. |

4. Bride's Pool Countryside Tour

| Content: | Walk along the Bride’s Pool footpath, enjoy the sceneries of heritage bridge and waterfall and learn about the river stream ecology. |

5. Organic Farming and Bread Baking Workshop [FULL]
